The ideal candidate will have current ASE Master Automobile Technician certification, as well as the Advanced Engine Performance Specialist Certification (L1), and other candidates must have at least 4 ASE certifications and at least five years of experience. Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday with a one hour lunch.Please send a resume by email with contact information and references.
Job Description: Perform inspections and diagnostic testing on cars and light trucks to determine work needed to address customer concerns and to recommend needed work. Provide a written estimate of the labor times and parts needed to perform the repairs and needed maintenance. Provide information to the service advisor to assist in explaining the needed work to the customer.Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in a timely manner according to published and online labor time guides. Perform general maintenance; fluid and filter changes; tune ups; brake repair and replacement; timing belts; shock absorber and suspension work; air conditioning maintenance and repair; electrical testing and repair; engine and transmission repair and/or replacement; as well as all other repair or maintenance commonly needed on most makes and models of motor vehicles.Use diagnostic scanners and test equipment to diagnose check engine lights and driveability problems. Communicate well with other employees and customers to facilitate repair and maintenance of vehicles in the shop.
